Diane Reno Obituary

West Bath- Diane Reno, 77, of Reno’s Bluff died September 26, 2019 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick surrounded by her devoted husband of 62 years and loving family.

She was born in Lewiston on September 9, 1942, a daughter of Herb and Shirley (Graffam) Merrifield.

She enjoyed Elvis, playing scrabble with her friends and was an avid fan of Tom Brady and the Patriots.  She served many years as a member of the West Bath Fire Auxiliary.

Mostly, her passion in life was her family and everything they were involved in.  She was not just the matriarch of the family but it’s historian as well. Scrapbooks filled with racing articles, photos, newspaper clips of children’s sporting events, proms, and school report cards line her shelves. In later years, it became wedding announcements and birth celebrations.  Every year and decade cataloged by scraps of paper and photographs to be committed to memory and cherished for all times. She proudly archived the accomplishments of her seven children, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lawrence A. Reno Sr. of West Bath, two sons, Lawrence “Buddy” A. Renaud Jr. and his wife Maria of Harpswell and Stephen C. Renaud and his wife Tracy of West Bath, two daughters, Kathy Lavallee and her husband Daniel of West Bath and Debbie Vigue and her husband Timothy of West Bath, one brother, Ronald Morris and his wife Rose of Limington, one sister, Ida Fillion of Lewiston, eight grandchildren, Michelle Babcock, Chelsey Weeks and her husband Christopher, Max Allen Renaud, Ashley Moody and her husband Mike, T.J. Vigue and his partner Caylee Racioppi, Nichole Renaud MacDonald, Nicholas Renaud and his wife Liz and Harmony Renaud, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Peggy Ann, two sons, Richard Allen and Robert Douglas, one brother, Sunny Morris and one sister, Carol Chartier.
