Dresden – Jack A. Page, 73, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home.
He was born in Brunswick on January 24, 1946, a son of Ronald M. and Nellie T. (Ambrose) Page. He attended Bath schools and on April 10, 1965 he married the love of his life, Barbara L. Williams.
He was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion in Bath.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, the Oxford Casino, going to the Legion in Bath, fishing, riding his tractor, playing his spoons, poker at Charlie’s house, playing cards and Yahtzee with his family. He loved spending time with his animals, Bella and Bandit.
He was one of the funniest people you’d ever met. Jack always had a smile on his face, even at the end when he was very sick. He used all of his strength to make his family and friends laugh.
He was predeceased by his parents, one daughter, Sherry Carr, 3 brothers, Raymond Page, David Page and Gary Page, one sister, Evelyn Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Page of Dresden, one daughter, Rose Miller and her partner, Roger McNelly of West Bath, one son in law, Gary Carr of Bath, two brothers, Stanley Page of MA and Ralph Page of Bath, one sister, Judy Deion and her husband Charles of Bath, 6 grandchildren, Jaclyn Bruce and her husband Kris of West Bath, Keisha Foster and her husband Lawrence of Richmond, Monica Miller and her partner Shawn Mills of Bath, Nicole Carr and her fiancé Jon Willett of Bath, Kristen Carr and her fiancé of Zak Kentopp of South Carolina and his only grandson, Daniel Carr of Bath, 7 great grandchildren, Kayla Connors and partner Xavier Robertson, Kiara Allen and partner Drake Gilliam, Karissa Allen, Trinity Foster, Ember Foster, Robin Willett and Jaelyn Mills, one future great great grandson, Liam Robert Alan Gilliam, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 6 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the American Legion Hall on Congress Avenue in Bath.
