Marcia R. (Higgins) Penn

Bath - Marcia R. Penn, 75, died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

     She was born in Bath on October 30, 1943, a daughter of Raphael N. and Marjorie R. (Hinckley) Higgins.  Marcia attended Bath schools and Morse High School.   She married Erwin Kratzer and was employed by the Times Record in Brunswick and was a cook at Mere Point Nursing Home in Brunswick.   She married John Penn and traveled throughout the country working together driving their 18 wheeler.   Marcia also was a home health care attendant in the local area.

     She enjoyed crafting, painting, and was an animal lover, especially of cats, dogs, horses and she even had a pet squirrel. 

     Marcia is survived by her daughter, Donna Schotten and her husband Michael of Woolwich, her son, Anthony Penn of Indiana, one sister, Roslyn Hanna of Augusta, 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
