Georgetown – Ann M. Preble, 43, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Born in Brunswick on April 20, 1981, she was a daughter of Clarence “Chip” A. and Judith A. Preble Jr.
Ann Attended Five Island schools and went on to work at the Big Top Deli in Brunswick. Ann was always there with a warm smile for everyone as they walked in the door. She made many lasting friendships during her time there.
Ann was with Robert “Bobby” Blethen, the love of her life for 15 years, together they had their son Jack. Jack was Ann’s whole world. She loved spending time with him whether it be walking the beaches or just snuggling on the couch watching their favorite movies.
Ann was a beacon of light for many people including her mother. Best described as a loyal and uplifting person, she always had a kind word for anyone she crossed paths with. She also had a knack for telling it like it was if need be. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dogs and being close to the water.
Ann is predeceased by her partner, Robert “Bobby” Blethen.
Ann is survived by her son, Jack Blethen of Georgetown, father, Clarence “Chip” Preble Jr. and mother, Judith A. Preble of Georgetown, sister, Sheree Smith of Georgetown, brother, Chip and wife Ashley Preble of Woolwich, sister, Jessica and husband Scott Davis of Thornton, Co, many nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
