Betty A. Reil

Brunswick -  Betty A. Reil, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

     She was born in Springfield, Vermont on July 5, 1944, a daughter of Carroll George  and Thelma George Lyon.  She graduated from Springfield High School.  Betty married Gordon E. Reil and they moved to Maine. 

     She enjoyed Bingo and spending time chatting with her friends.

     Betty was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Reil, two brothers, Carol George and Doug George, two sisters, Cathy Messier and Helen George.

    She is survived by two sons, Michael Reil and his companion Rose Smeltzer of Richmond, Steve Reil and his companion Linda Johnson of Topsham, two daughters, Brenda Whitworth and her companion Doug  Hussey of Biddeford, Tracy Ridlon and her husband Andrew of Sabattus, one sister, Shirley Eastman of Texas, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

     A celebration of life will be held on July 5, 2025  at Michaels residence 77 Stillwater Lane, Richmond, ME 04357 from 12 – 4PM.  Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.  Condolences may be made online at www.DaigleFuneralHome.com
