Brenda J. Jones

Bath -  Brenda J. Jones, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

     She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, a daughter of Walter S. and Hattie R. (Denoris) Marshall Jr.  She attended Bath Schools and was employed at Rental of Bath and later at M. W. Sewall’s in Bath.  After retiring she moved to Florida and in 2017 she moved back to Bath. 

     She was a member of Maine Street Baptist Church in Brunswick and was active in the ladies group and enjoyed Bible Study.

     Brenda enjoyed going to the beach, reading, bike riding, plants and especially spending time with her family.

     She was predeceased by two brothers, Austin “Boots” Marshall and Robert (Bobby) Marshall.

     She is survived by two daughters, Laurie Savage of West Bath and Karen Dutton and her husband Pat of West Bath, two sisters, Carol Bruce of Utah and Linda Loughborough of CT, two brothers, Raymond Marshall and his wife Cathy of FL and Ronald Marshall and his wife Elaine of R.I., 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

     A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Maine Street Baptist Church,  326 Maine Street, Brunswick.  Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, Help Fight RA, 8815 Conroy Windermere Rd.
