Bryant Clarke Obituary

Georgetown- Bryant R. Clarke, 35, of Spinney Point Lane, passed away peacefully, on December 1, 2022, at his home.

He was born in Morgantown, W.V., on August 10, 1987, son of Ty E. and Sharon J. (Miller) Clarke.

He grew up in Washingtonville New York, where he played varsity football and Lacrosse, and graduated in 2006. He attended Shippensburg University in PA, where he earned his B.S. in Environmental Science. He lived in W.V., PA, NY, CO, and ME.

He adored being a father – He took great joy in parenting and sharing his joy of life with his “Mars”. He and Marley shared a love of the cinema and popped many bowls of popcorn together to share on movie nights. He loved exploring, (getting lost), in the wilderness, and stumbling upon new paths and trails. He loved family gatherings and cherished his time with his niblings. He had football in his blood and shared a love of Ohio State Football with his dad and uncles. Bryant loved eating and cooking and creating the most artistic and delicious meals to share with family and friends and knew all the great places to go. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved the ocean, the moon, and the stars and the serenity it brought to his soul. He longed for the summer when friends and family would gather at Bay Point. He loved camping, boating, and hiking with his beloved canine, Tango – “The Big Tang” and his Marley Bee.

Bryant worked as a general contractor and started his own construction business, the “Bee and Bear”. The workmanship of his creative talents can be seen throughout Georgetown Island. Bryant had a brilliant mind and loved a good debate into the wee hours of the morning! His witty humor brought so much laughter and joy to all those who knew and loved him. Bryant had a “larger than life” personality and was filled with an unmatched exuberant beautiful smile!

Bryant is survived by his daughter, the joy of his life, Marley Bee Clarke, age 6 years, and her mom Danielle Hunsinger, his parents, Ty and Sharon Clarke, his brother, Ty Clarke and wife Stephanie, along with their three children, Ty, Ayla, and Elle; his sister, Kristy (Clarke) Trumbo and her husband, Mark and their three children, Avery, Grant, and Payton. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Miller of Campbell Hall, NY, his Aunt Georgie Sylvester and Uncle Buff of Poughkeepsie, NY and his cousins Jonny, Ben, Jenny, and Becky and their spouses and children, his Uncle Kris Miller and wife Ausra and son Auggie of Campbell Hall, NY, and his Uncle Rob Miller and wife Barbara, and cousins Rebekah and Alison.

In addition, he is survived by his Ohio family including his Aunt Jill and Uncle Steve, cousins Kirk, Kyle, Kayla, and Kari and their spouses and children; his Uncle Rocky and wife Alison and cousins Mike and Amy and their spouses and children, his Uncle Craig and wife Mariann and cousins, Amy, Ashton, Aubrie, and Couger their spouses and children; his Aunt Jackie and cousins Rob, Julie, Jodie, Wendy, Bethany, and Brennen and spouses and children.

He was predeceased by his Uncle Bobby Clarke and his paternal grandparents, Helen and Robert Clarke of Ohio.

He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bryant was blessed to be part of such an amazing, loving, large, and incredible family and enriched with an abundance of loving and supportive friends. He was well loved and will be forever missed until we all meet again in our eternal home.

Private services will be held.  An open memorial service will be held TBD.
