David M. Merrill

Woolwich – David M. Merrill, 80,  passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Horizons in Brunswick.

He was born on September 16, 1944.  He graduated Gardiner High School then entered the United States Navy.  Dave was employed at the Bath Iron Works retiring as a Supervisor.  Dave married Donna Arsenault on June 23,

1984.  He later was employed at L. L. Bean in Freeport.

David was a life member, four time Past Exalted Ruler and treasurer of the Bath Lodge of Elks.

He was predeceased by one stepdaughter, Brenda Wagoner. 

Dave is survived by his wife, Donna L. Merrill of Woolwich, one son, Chris Merrill of Augusta, one daughter Wendy Jackson of Augusta, three stepson’s, Robert Arsenault Jr. and his wife Tammy of New York, John Arsenault and his wife Nancy of Woolwich and Michael Arsenault of Woolwich, one sister, Donna Kendrick of Litchfield, and many grandchildren.
