Donald J. Adams

Woolwich- Donald J. Adams, age 65 of Woolwich, died Monday January 1st at his home.  He was born September 10, 1958 in Augusta, the son of Donald A. and Esther Howard Adams.

He was educated in Monmouth Schools and went to work as a long- haul truck driver until his retirement.  He was proud to receive an award for driving a million miles with no accidents.

On June 6, 2012 he married Elanor Mank.  He was affiliated with various churches in the area, most recently the Five Islands Baptist Church.  Church life was very important to him; he loved playing the guitar and singing at services.

He is survived by his wife, Elanor and her children Buzz Lyons and his wife Dee of W. Bath, Randall Lyons and his wife Suzanne of Brunswick, and Holly Reynolds and her husband David of Georgetown, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters Donna and Debbie.

There will be no services.  A private burial in Riverside Cemetery, Woolwich will be held at a later date.
