Donald "Don" Back

Little River, SC…Donald "Don" Back, age 71, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024.

     Mr. Back was born June 5, 1953 in Bath, Maine, a son of the late Ernest Samuel and Edna Mae Oliver Back.  He was a music buff, played the guitar and loved the Happy Together Music Tour.  Mr. Back loved cats, and was an avid bird watcher.  He was a Referee for Intramural Soccer and Basketball, was a marathon runner and loved his Morse High School Class of 1971 reunions.  Mr. Back was predeceased by his favorite uncle, Robert Back.

     Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Loretta Back, four children, Jon Back (Sandra Torres) of Pewaukee, WI, Cortney Calhoun (Michael) of Florence, SC, Melissa Torgersen of Little River, SC and Brice Torgersen (Jennifer Gasque) of North Myrtle Beach, twelve grandchildren, Elliot, Colson, Kayla, Zane, Hunter, Lincoln, Cal, Tia, Joseph, Rachael, Emilie and Jacob, seven great-grandchildren and his best friend, Tony Russo.
