Edith M. Leeman

Phippsburg – Edith M. Leeman, 61, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

     She was born on April 7, 1963, a daughter of William and Catherine (MacDonald) Woodman. She graduated from Holbrook High School in Massachusetts, and later from Thomas College in Waterville.  Edie was employed at Bill Brewer’s accounting firm in Bath. She was later employed at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick becoming the senior accountant. On December 13, 2014 she married Timothy M. Leeman.

    Edie found joy in camping and feeling the wind on her face as she rode on the back of Timothy's motorcycle. She cherished every moment spent with her family, friends, and neighbors, always bringing warmth and happiness to those around her. Her genuine soul, infectious smile, and laughter made the world a brighter place.

     She is survived by one daughter, Alyssa Giroux of Phippsburg, one son, Michael Giroux and his companion Victoria Lewis of Phippsburg, one brother, William Woodman and his wife Marian of Harrisburg, PA, one sister, Marion Rapoza of Holbrook, MA, one granddaughter, Adaline Giroux and many nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Timothy M. Leeman.
