Faith J. (Powers) Snowdon

Woolwich -  Faith J. Snowdon, 83, formerly of Greenville Junction passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.

     She was born in Bath on August 16, 1942, a daughter of George A. and Mary G. (Harvey) Powers.  She attended Georgetown Schools and graduated from Morse High School in Bath in the Class of 1960.  She was employed at J.J. Nissen for many years.  She was later employed at Bath Iron Works for over ten years.  On May 21, 1987 she married Kenneth L. Snowdon Jr.  Faith and Kenny traveled to Greenville Junction every weekend until 1991 when they moved there permanently. 

     Faith enjoyed gardening and especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

     She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Snowdon Jr. on August 30, 2023, one daughter, Susan M. Willette, one grandson, Adam Snowdon, one sister, Edith L. Robinson and one brother, George H. Powers.

     She is survived by two daughters, Candace L. Pinkham and her husband John of  Woolwich and Holly Snowdon and her boyfriend Shawn of West Bath, four sons, Christopher K. Snowdon and his wife Sandy of Port Charlotte, Fl, Theodore F. Snowdon of Wiscasset, James E. Snowdon and his wife Kimberly of Mississippi  and George T. Snowdon and his wife Nicole of Wiscasset, one brother, Robert E. Powers of Hollis, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
