Woolwich – Jacob “Jake” E. Bryant, 44, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
He was born in Bath on October 11, 1980, the son of Donald A. and Barbara J. (Bowden) Bryant. Jake graduated from Morse High School in 1999. He graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a bachelor’s degree in engineering of construction management. He was employed at multiple construction companies as a field engineer. He was later employed at Bath Iron Works as a designer and most recently as a planning supervisor.
Jake was a member of the Masons in Ellsworth, the Shriners in Ellsworth and Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family, friends and his dog Hank.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Barbara Bryant of Arrowsic, his significant other, Christina Gilbert of Newport, his maternal grandmother, Mary Bowden of Corinna, two sisters, Libby Corsi and her husband Craig of Brownville, Sarah Harper and her husband Greg of Woolwich, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jacob E.
