Miroslaw "Merrick" Golunski

Portland -Miroslaw “Merrick” Golunski, 66, formerly of Westbrook, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Winship Green nursing home.  He was born February 7, 1958, the son of Henryk and Hilerena Bluma Golunski in Gdansk, Poland.

    In his youth he was a member of the solidary movement in Poland. He actively protested the communist government and was forced to migrate to Spain. He later migrated to the United States and became a citizen for almost 40 years. He was a floor covering installer who was a proud worker and had an impeccable work ethic.
