Pamela Rose Glidden Kirkpatrick, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 24, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.

Pamela was born on July 19, 1947, in Damariscotta, Maine, a place that always held a special place in her heart. She was a graduate of Lincoln Academy and attended Fisher College where she graduated with a Medical Associates degree. After graduating, Pam began her career working in Portland, Maine. 

Pam shared an extraordinary love story with her husband, Howard “Howie” Kirkpatrick, Jr having met on Damariscotta Lake in their youth. Married 56 years, they were truly inseparable. Together they built not only a beautiful family but also worked side by side in the family business, Bath Fuel Company/BFC Marine, sharing both life’s responsibilities and its greatest joys. Their unwavering partnership was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Pamela was the devoted eldest daughter of John and Marian Glidden of Newcastle, sister to Gina Glidden (of Portland, Maine) and Peter Glidden (pre-deceased) mother of Glen Kirkpatrick and Allyson Kirkpatrick Webster. Nothing brought her greater happiness than her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Kyle and Brandon Webster and Sam and Haley Kirkpatrick who brought endless joy to her life.

During her adult years, she was a proud Golden Circle member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she formed friendships that she treasured throughout her life.

Pam loved spending time with her family and friends. Whether gathered around the table, celebrating life’s milestones, or simply enjoying each other’s company, she made everyone feel welcomed, loved, and valued. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and genuine warmth touched countless lives.

Pamela’s greatest legacy is the love she shared with those around her. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her lifelong friendships, and the quiet strength and grace with which she lived her life.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Howie; her children, Glen and Allyson, daughter-in-law Heidi Kirkpatrick, son-in-law Jay Webster, her cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Sam, Haley, and Brandon; step-grand daughter Devon Green, sister Gina Glidden and stepsister Kelly Faison Glidden along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
