Phippsburg – Ronald A. Williams, 77, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Bath on December 20, 1948, the eldest son of Donald and Dorothy (Davis) Williams. After graduating from Morse High School in 1966, he entered the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. Ronnie worked in the paint shop at Bath Iron Works until his retirement in 2017. In 1979, he married Earlene Barker.
Ronnie met his beloved wife, Earlene, at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, where he and his two brothers were active in stock car racing.
All his life, Ronnie valued time spent with family. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Earlene B. Williams on February 12, 2025.
Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Timothy Barker and his wife April of South Paris, and Matthew Williams and his wife Sierra of Bath; his daughter, Crystal Kenney and her husband Jason of Bath; his brothers, George Williams and his wife Joyce of Phippsburg, and Wayne Williams and his wife Bonnie of Phippsburg; his sister, Sue Albright of Bath; his grandchildren, Jakob Barker and his wife Whitney of Buckfield, Cody Barker and his wife Jamie of Sumner, Hayden Williams, and Makayla, Savannah, and Alexandria Kenney, all of Bath; and his great-grandchildren, Ian, Adelynn, Iris, Cooper, and Bentley Barker.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery in Phippsburg at a later date. Condolences may be made online at www.DaigleFuneralHome.com.
