Westen "Wes" Gardner Obituary

Bath- Westen “Wes” Lee Gardner passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Bath, a day after his 29th birthday.

     He was born in Portland on December 31, 1989, a son of Russell West and Molly Gardner.

     He graduated from Morse High School in the class of 2008 and worked locally in construction. Wes was a fun loving, hard working person, who was closely bonded with his family.

     He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

     He will be greatly missed by his mother, Molly Gardner of Bath, his father, Russell West of Bath, his brother, Garion Kneeland of Bath, his aunt, Kate Gardner-Durbin of Bozeman, Montana, his grandmother, Constance Gardner of Toronto, Canada, grandparents, Ronald J. and Donna J. West of Leesburg, FL, his girlfriend, Carol Baxley of West Bath and many friends. He also leaves behind his 5 year old son, Ray Sargent-Gardner of Rockland.

     He was predeceased by his grandfather, L.T. Gardner.

     A celebration of life will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wildlife Conservation Society, Attn: Donations, 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY, 10460 or at wcs.org or Bath Youth Meetinghouse & Skate Park, c/o Bath Parks & Recreation, 4 Sheridan Road, Bath, 04530 or online at www.bathskatepark.com where Westen and his brother enjoyed spending time..
