William J. (Billy) Bourgoin

Brunswick- William J. (Billy) Bourgoin, 50, of Tufton Street died peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his residence with loved ones by his side.

     He was born in Lewiston on October 11, 1968, son of Roger D. and Karen S. (Harmon) Bourgoin Sr.

    He attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1987.  He was employed at The Cabin in Bath for 22 years.  On August 27, 2011 he married Lori (Lachance) Brown.

     He was a member of the Son’s of American Legion in Bath.

     He loved watching John Wayne movies, football, playing poker, camping and especially spending time with family and friends.

     He is survived by his wife, Lori L. (Lachance) Bourgoin of Brunswick, one stepson, Richard G. Lachance of Brunswick, three stepdaughters, Erica L.  Morton and her husband Scott of Brunswick, Nicole E.  Christensen and her husband Nick of Orr’s Island and Billie-Jo Brown and her husband Terry of Brunswick, one brother, Raymond E. Bourgoin of Brunswick, one sister, Rachel L. Torrey and her husband Donald of Lisbon, four granddaughters, Bryaunnah Colburn, Rylee Morton, Payton Christensen, Koreena Brown, one grandson, Kamryn McCormick four great grandsons, Shawn Brown, Jr., Tyrell Brown, Malachi Morton and Keleb McCormick and his best friend, John Torrey and his companion, Celeste Carrier of West Gardiner, lifelong friend, Dean Murray, friend and stepbrother, Michael Allisot, many other stepsiblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

     He was predeceased by both parents, a brother, Roger D. Bourgoin Jr. and his in laws, Richard (Dick) and Elizabeth (Betty) Darling.

     A celebration of life will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the American Legion, Congress Ave, Bath.     Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.  Condolences may be made online at www.Daiglefuneralhome.com.
